An invitation is extended to the Bowen community to attend a Special Meeting next Monday to discuss the importance of the Bowen Jetty at which we can reflect upon the history of the jetty.

The community needs to understand the current predicament and explore options to save the jetty for future generations to enjoy. We all must appreciate the contribution that the facility made to Bowen and North Queensland when completed in 1867.
